PawPeer Care Shield
PawPeer offers Care Shield for eligible bookings to provide limited platform support when a covered incident is reported on time and supported with documentation.
What it is

Care Shield is not insurance, not a warranty, and not a guarantee of reimbursement.
What Care Shield may help with
- Eligible minor veterinary expenses tied to a confirmed PawPeer booking
- Eligible minor property damage reported within the required time window
- Platform-guided incident review for qualifying reports
Report deadline
Incidents must be reported within 24 hours of the booking end time unless PawPeer states a different deadline in the active Care Shield policy.
What is generally not covered
- Undisclosed aggression, bite history, medical issues, or other omitted safety information
- Pre-existing conditions or unrelated veterinary expenses
- Losses outside the booking window or outside PawPeer's required reporting process
- Negligence, reckless conduct, criminal acts, fraud, or false claims
- Amounts above the published Care Shield limit
What users must do
- Maintain accurate pet profiles and safety disclosures
- Report the incident through the app or support flow within the required deadline
- Provide requested evidence, such as photos, receipts, messages, and vet documentation
- Cooperate with PawPeer during claim review
How review works
PawPeer reviews each submitted claim against the active Care Shield policy, the booking record, messages, disclosures, timestamps, and submitted evidence. PawPeer may approve, partially approve, or deny a claim in its discretion, subject to applicable law and the Care Shield policy in effect at the time of the booking.
