Where PawPeer requires identity verification, background review, document checks, selfie matching, or similar trust and safety processes, we and our approved vendors may collect identification information, verification status, and related metadata. This information is used for fraud prevention, compliance, trust and safety, platform integrity, payout eligibility, and account review.
6. Location Data and Dispatch Information
If you use real-time dispatch, handoff coordination, walking, sitting, pickup, dropoff, live tracking, or location-enabled features, PawPeer may collect approximate location, precise location, background location, route information, status changes, and device-derived location signals, subject to your device settings and applicable law. We use this information to support dispatch, live updates, route coordination, safety, fraud prevention, incident review, service improvement, and customer support.
7. Device, Usage, and Technical Data
We may automatically collect device identifiers, IP address, operating system, app version, browser type, crash data, referral data, language settings, interaction data, session activity, timestamps, cookies, analytics information, and similar technical information when you use the Service.

PawPeer does not store full payment card details except as provided and retained by authorized payment providers.
9. Messages, Communications, and Support
If you message through the platform, contact support, respond to surveys, or communicate with PawPeer by email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notification, or other channels, we may collect and process those communications and related metadata for operations, service delivery, support, trust and safety, dispute resolution, analytics, and compliance.

12. How We Share Information
We may share information with other users as needed to facilitate bookings and platform features; with service providers and vendors that support hosting, analytics, verification, payments, messaging, customer support, storage, fraud prevention, and security; with professional advisers; in connection with a corporate transaction; or when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property. We do not sell your mobile number or personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
13. User-to-User Visibility
Certain profile information, pet details, booking details, ratings, reviews, approximate service status, and communications may be visible to other users as part of the platform experience. Information shared with other users may be retained or further disclosed by those users, and PawPeer is not responsible for independent actions they take with information made available to them through permitted platform features.

15. Legal Bases and Consent
Depending on your jurisdiction, PawPeer may rely on consent, contractual necessity, legitimate interests, compliance with law, and other permitted legal bases to process information. Where consent is required for location permissions, marketing communications, or similar features, you may withdraw consent through your device or account settings, subject to legal and operational limits.
16. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain records, support trust and safety, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and support legitimate business purposes. 20. International Transfers
PawPeer may store and process information in the United States and other countries where PawPeer or its service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data protection laws than your own.
21. Care Shield, Incident Reviews, and Trust & Safety
If you submit or are involved in an incident, dispute, or Care Shield review, PawPeer may collect and review booking records, messages, profile disclosures, photos, receipts, vet documents, location records, timestamps, and other evidence relevant to evaluating eligibility, platform safety, and policy enforcement.
